Jordan,

Is there a particular reason that you decided to have the AutoSave feature save to a modified file name?

This has caused a little bit of confusion for me when trying to determine which file is the most recent or upto date.

Just a question.

I am really enjoying this software. It is easy to use and is quite streamlined.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the question. The way that my autosave feature works is similar to how Microsoft Word does it. While you have your document open and are working on it, TodoPaper is saving your changes to a separate file. The document is an "active" document and not necessarily the final saved version. The autosave feature is mostly used in the event that the application or your computer crashes and you haven't saved the document fully. When you open the file, ToodPaper will ask you if you want to restore to the backup (autosaved) file. Now, some people said it was a little bit confusing the way it opens the autosave file and not restoring it to the original file. So, in the next version it will be a little bit more clear.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for your support.

Hey Mike,

I've updated the autosave feature to be a little more clear. It now "restores" the original file, instead just opening the autosave.

You can update to the newest version here

Let me know what you think of this.
