I do a lot of web work. Most of the time this involves grabbing a 100 megabyte Photoshop file from a designer, after which I open and begin slicing out background images and other assets. I’ve always had problems with the SPEED of this activity though. If I’m running any other applications concurrent with Photoshop, it can take minutes to save a slice. RIDICULOUS.
Well, I found this neat little website which illustrates 2 tiny preference settings to make Photoshop faster. Check it out, apply the settings, and feel the freedom it brings. Now, if I could only apply the same tweaks to speed up that ol’ dog Firefox.
